LifeGel for 3D cell culture consists of multi-well plates pre-coated with LifeGel, available with either cell culture medium (RPMI, DMEM-HG, DMEM-LG, DMEM/F-12, alpha-MEM, custom) or in PBS. This innovative platform provides a ready-to-use solution for advanced 3D cell culture applications, enabling more physiologically relevant cell growth and research.

Step 1
You choose your cell line (adherent or non-adherent) and send it to us. If necessary, we will adapt your cell line to suspension growth and find the right cell culture media which will be later applicable for GMP manufacturing.
Step 2
Single clone selection phase: Your cell line now adapted to suspension growth will receive additional supplements for single clone selection. At this stage you have to decide how many cells you want to attempt the selection with – we suggest 1000 single cells to give a high chance of obtaining good working clones.
We are using our own proprietary method of establishing clones from single cells.
Step 3
Obtaining the necessary number of cells from clones – increasing the scale of culture, and reduction of cell selection media to a growth media.
