Dynamic barrier bioreactor for advanced physiological-interface and 3D configurations.

LiveBox2 (LB2) is a transparent IVTech bioreactor designed to reproduce pathophysiological barriers under dynamic conditions. A removable porous membrane separates apical and basal compartments, while two inlets and two outlets support independent fluidic control.

• Liquid-Liquid Interface (LLI) culture with tangential flow

• Air-Liquid Interface (ALI) culture for barrier models such as lung, skin and eye

• Sigmoidal top-to-bottom flow through a cell-colonized 3D porous scaffold

• Sigmoidal bottom-to-top flow for floating cell clusters retained by the membrane
